An excerpt from my forthcoming book: [Feel It Real: 24 hours to effortless transformation]
I am almost done with the first draft of my book Feel It Real: 24 hours to effortless transformation which I am hoping to be finished with in the next few days. I will be publishing it through amazon as both a Kindle e-book as well as a printed paperback.
Below you will find the most powerful manifestation exercise that I have ever done. Coupled with some of the clearing exercises I present later in the book, and you have a simple and effective way to effortlessly transform your thinking and your life. I hope you enjoy this excerpt. Please leave me your thoughts and questions by leaving a comment at the bottom.

Feel It Real: 24 Hours to Effortless Transformation
Michael Allen Ellis
Principle four: Consciousness is All
What if I told you that everything you experience in your life is just an illusion? Would you believe me? Could you even entertain the thought for a moment, or would you completely dismiss the idea as silly? Well, believe it or not, that is exactly the idea I am going to introduce you to. Even if you think the idea is silly, keep an open mind and you will begin to understand what I mean.
How is it that we sense the world? Through taste, touch, smell, hearing and vision. We do this by using the various sensory organs that have been standard equipment for most of the life on this planet for hundreds of millions of years. However, there is a mystery surrounding the 5 senses. How do we really make sense of the information that our sensory organs deliver to us?. Eyes don’t really see the world, they just transmit information about the light bouncing off of objects in our general area and sends that information to the brain. Same thing goes for sound, we don’t actually hear the sound waves. Sound waves cause vibrations in our ear drum that is carried through tiny bones in our inner ear and then those vibrations are picked up by the cochlea. The cochlea is filled with tiny hair-like cells that pick up those vibrations and are stimulated by them. This stimulation sends a signal to the brain indicating a sound of a certain amplitude and frequency was detected by the cochlea. So how does it become the experience of hearing a sound coming from “out there” when our experience of the sound is created inside of our mind? This is true for all of our senses. Our experience of the world is created in our mind. So in order for us to experience reality at all, we need our senses. Without sensory information of some kind, reality would cease to exist for us. So what does this suggest?
Consciousness is all. If what we believe to be reality is just our minds creating a simulation of reality based on information gathered by our senses, then our experience of reality is at least in some way imaginary. Reality isn’t what we think it is. Reality is what we think. Since the decoding of our sensory data is seemingly instantaneous we perceive what we sense as coming from outside our bodies, but that is an illusions because as I have just pointed out, our mind is what creates the experience by decoding the data sent to it moment by moment. As I said before, only the present moment is real.
What this idea suggests is staggering in its implications. If we cannot be certain of the reality of anything that we experience then either nothing is truly real or everything that we perceive in the moment is the only thing that is real. If you have read this far then you know what my opinion is. Everything we experience in the moment is real. This holds true even if what you are experiencing is a memory, a fantasy or a dream. If you are experiencing it now, then it is real for you. Not only that but your experiences in the moment, will tend to draw those same kinds of experiences to you again and again.
It is my firm conviction that everything that we perceive to be real is a creation of mind. What we experience in the present moment has the greatest reality for us because we are experiencing that moment with all 5 of our bodily senses in real time. Not a memory or a fantasy but a physical experience of the now. I know that sounds like I am contradicting myself. How can I say that anything we experience in the now is true even if its a dream, memory or fantasy and then in the next paragraph say that only what we experience in the now through our physical 5 senses are true? The answer is feeling. Anything we feel to be true, we believe to be true. This happens in spite of knowledge to the contrary. This idea explains how humans can believe in things that they have never experienced with their physical senses, sometimes to the point of sacrificing their lives. It also explains how people can disbelieve things that are observably true. For example, the belief that many people had at one time about black people and slavery. It wasn’t very long ago that most people believed that it was okay to enslave black africans because they were not as fully human as white people. This was observably untrue. Africans, had culture, language, religion, art and science, and were obviously every bit as human as whites. Yet the practice continued in america for nearly one hundred years! When what we believe to be true contradicts what is observably true, there is struggle and resistance. When we create stories about what is true and believe those stories instead of what is experienced in the moment. Then those beliefs become what is true for you. This isn’t a problem when those beliefs are positive and empowering. It is only when your thoughts and beliefs are based on fear, limitation, control, anger, guilt, humiliation, separation or lack that you encounter resistance, struggle and stress. By focusing on the now, you can experience what is true. Then you can choose to create what you authentically desire.
One of the challenges that people face when trying to transform their lives is changing their thinking. Many people believe that they have to become eternally vigilant and to never allow themselves to ever think a negative thought, even in passing. This effort can seem impossible. People think thousands of thoughts an hour. Much of that thinking if forgotten moments after it is thought. Most of those thoughts, even the negative ones will have little effect on your life. It isn’t passing thoughts that are responsible for the creation of our experiences. It is the repeated and habitual thoughts which carry with them powerful emotions that are responsible for attracting the people, events, things and circumstances of your life. This is how it works. This is how it has always worked. At least from our limited scope of perception.
The key to creating the life that you truly desire is to make a habit of thinking thoughts of what you desire coupled with powerfully positive emotions. When those thoughts are focused on the belief that what is desired has already happened, then that becomes your reality. The following exercise is one of the most powerful methods I have found in creating the reality that you truly desire.
The Four Step Manifestation Exercise:
Start by knowing exactly what it is that you desire. This is an important step because unless you are sure of your intention, it is very difficult to generate the enthusiasm that is necessary for the success of the exercise.
Write down in as much detail as possible, exactly what it is you would like to attract to you. You are to describe a scene that represents to you that you have achieved that which you desire. Describe it in as much sensory detail as possible, even putting in details that may seem insignificant or unnecessary. Make the description in the first person and describe the scene as if it is happening now.
This scene is what you are about to use as the basis for your visualization. You may want to record yourself speaking this description aloud, so you can listen to it while you do the exercise, or you can read it out loud during the exercise and then close your eyes to visualize it happening.
Now I want you to come up with a statement of intent that clearly and concisely states your desire. The statement also must be in the first person and in the present tense. Start the statement with the words I AM… For example:
I AM now the owner of a 2013 Audi Mk5 Sports sedan, I feel joyous and a sense of supreme satisfaction!
Now you are ready to put it all together for the visualization and realization exercise
To begin the exercise, stand with your feet about shoulder width apart. You should be relaxed but be sure to keep your back straight and your head held high. Your attitude should be one of calm and confidence. You are at the center of your universe and have ultimate power. Your body language and presence should reflect that attitude.
Take several slow deep breaths and when you feel ready, tilt your head back looking straight up, as if looking up at the sky. At the same time you tilt your head back, raise your arms up quickly with them slightly spread apart, forming a “V” in the air. As you raise your arms. I want you to imagine that you are looking up at the source of universal energy. Whatever that means for you. It could be God, Jesus, The Buddha, a glowing ball of golden light, whatever the image or presence you choose, I want you to feel radiating from this source intense feelings of love, joy and enthusiasm. Feel that intense feeling of radiating love pouring down on you. And as you raise your arms you can almost feel that energy pouring into you as you powerful say
YES! with energy and enthusiasm. And as you hear yourself say this powerful YES feel that happiness, love and joy double in intensity.
Stay in that feeling for a few moments and then bring your arms down to cross in front of your chest like an egyptian pharaoh. As you bring your arms down, actually feel yourself gathering up all that loving energy radiating from above and pulling it down into your chest. As you cross your arms feel that love and joy pulsing in your chest with your arms crossed over your chest, as if you are hugging all that energy and keeping it inside you. As your arms cross in front of your chest, bring your head to a normal position looking straight ahead. Now speak aloud your sentence of intent. As you speak your words, nod your head as if you are agreeing with what is being said and smile as you speak your desire.
Next, with your arms still crossed at your chest, bow your head and close your eyes. As you do so visualise the scene that you wrote out earlier. If you would like you can read the description aloud first and then close your eyes to visualize it, or you can do as I suggested earlier and play a recording of you speaking the description. That way you can visualize the scene at the same time you listen to the description.
Do the visualization long enough for you to get a real sense of it happening right now. Feel the feelings you would feel if you were actually in possession of your desire at this very moment. See what you would see, hear what you would hear, put as much sensory detail in as possible. And as you feel the joy of this experience building, feel it adding to the energy you have pulled into your chest. Just when you feel that your emotions are at the peak of intensity, drop your hands to your side at an angle and raise your head again looking to the sky. As you do this feel the energy from your chest rush out into the universe, still leaving behind more joy and happiness than you had at the start of the exercise. As you do this say, “Thank you for Everything I AM! I love you!”
Now maintain that position and feel a feeling of joyous gratitude radiating from your chest out into the universe. After a few moments, drop your hands and clasp them in front of you, with one hand over the back of the other. As you do this drop your head down and close your eyes as you say “It is done!” Make this last statement with a feeling of satisfaction and a sense of completion.
The exercise is now complete and you can now go about your day as usual. Now you may notice that I call this the 4 step manifestation exercise but that I only listed 3 steps above. That is because there is one final step. That final step I call, The Give Away.
Step 4: The Give Away
Even if we just left that exercise as it is with the three steps you have already performed, it would be a powerful manifesting exercise. However, when you add this fourth step, it becomes a certainty that your desire is already yours. You see, the power of the 4 step exercise is that it instills a sense of certainty in you that what you desire is already yours. When you have already attained something you no longer desire it. It no longer dominates your thoughts and fantasies. It is yours, there is nothing left to desire. The ultimate way to attain that feeling of certainty of attainment is to do this fourth step. What I call The Give Away.
In this final step you don’t need to do any special body position. Just stand or sit in a relaxed but attentive position. Close your eyes and visualize the scene you just created for yourself. Again, make it as real as possible. Now, instead of seeing yourself receiving your desire, see yourself giving what you desired to someone else. Experience the feeling of joy from sharing your good fortune with another and being instrumental in helping someone attain the same desire you had. After holding on to that feeling of joy and satisfaction, let the vision go and simple open your eyes and say “I joyously share my abundance with the world”
The 4 step manifestation exercise is a powerful tool for transformation. However, you must remember that the exercise by itself will not attract what you desire. You must take action. The key thing to remember here is that one you have begun doing the exercise you will be habitually feeling that you have already attained your desire. You will begin to feel that, even though you haven’t yet experienced having your desire in the physical, your imagined experiences will begin to convince you that you already are that which you seek to be. When this happens, a strange and wonderful thing happens. You find yourself starting to change some of your old habits. You start to do new things, sometimes seemingly on a whim. Your intuition will begin to give you new insights and you will have urges to go new places or call new people.
Far from needing to convince yourself to take action, you will find yourself acting at every opportunity that presents itself. Your certainty that your desire is already in your possession creates a new mindset and a new way of perception. This, your intuition and your unconscious mind become programmed to alert you to even the most unlikely opportunities to see your desire accomplished because you have already experienced it as being real. That imagined experience has become so real for you and to an even greater extent to your unconscious mind, that your every sense becomes tuned to opportunities to realize the imagined experience.
As you go about your day you may find yourself thinking about your desire. This is understandable, however you must take care not to allow yourself to start worrying or doubting the certainty of attaining your desire. If you find yourself thinking about your desire in terms of how am I going to get this? Or when will it come to me? You must take action. These are thoughts of lack and neediness and they suggest that you are not truly certain that it is already yours. So how do you combat this tendency that many of us have. You could try to simply not think about your desire at all. Do the 4 Step exercise daily but make an effort to only think about it when you are doing your daily exercise. This suggestion is actually one that you will find in many older books on mysticism, metaphysics and the occult. The idea is that the more you think about your desire, the less your unconscious self is convinced that it is already yours. Trying to not think about something can be a nearly maddening experience, especially when it is a desire that you very much want to realize. There is, thank goodness an easier and more effective method.
Imagine for a moment that you have just won the state lotto jackpot. The jackpot is for 200 million dollars in cash! What an exciting moment! If you had any worries about money, they are gone now, right? Health concerns? Money can usually help there too! No more stressing about bills, the kids college education, getting the roof fixed, all of that goes out the window. They just don’t seem like problems any more. Why is that? It’s not like you have the cash in hand yet. In fact it can usually take months before you get a check.
So do you spend that time stressing about money? No, you know you are getting the money so even if you don’t have it right now, you know that it is yours. This is the attitude to have about your desires. You may still think about your desire after you do your exercise but it will be from the mindset that it is already yours, you just don’t have it yet. Instead of letting worry creep in, use your certainty of result mindset to guide you toward action that will bring you your desire more quickly. Or think of all the ways you will enjoy having your desire in your life and make plans on doing those things once you have received your desired result.
Lastly, don’t hesitate to look for opportunities to actualize the giveaway as well. Many times, you will have opportunities to help someone else get their desire, before your desire has manifested. Always take these opportunities when they come. They are a signpost on the road to manifesting your desire. Take every opportunity to actualize your visions from the manifestation exercise.
